I’m Sarah. I’m a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Boston University. My research explores how the early environment shapes child development, with implications for physical and mental health. I am particularly interested in connections between common experiences of stress, socioeconomic disadvantage, and the development of a system known as the microbiota-gut-brain axis. In my free time, I like to bake, read, do yoga, and hang out with my cats.
